In this 2-day workshop you’ll explore your own inner world of sensual and erotic imaginings and experience – plus discover the natural sensuality of everyday life – and capture it on the page.
You’ll find hidden wants, give a voice to your desires, and create a connection between your inner sensual world and the world around you. In the safe container of a blank page, the unspoken becomes named, the impossible becomes possible, and we are free to unleash our creativity and imagination in new ways.
You’ll be guided through a series of writing sessions designed to help you tap into the world of sensual and erotic desires, fantasies, hopes and fears – and put them into words.
Whether you intend to keep your writing as part of a private journal, or share it through publishing, this workshop will help you find and refine your sensual voice…and quite possibly, expand your range for enjoying your own sensual life, off the page.
Highlights of the workshop include:
Sensual and erotic writing need not be reserved for writers alone. Each of us has a voice, a sensual song, that is crying out to be heard. Come join us, and find yours.

Monica Day holds a degree in Creative Writing from Mills College and writes as both career and pleasure. She has her own internet publishing company and worked for many years as a freelance copywriter. But her first love is writing sensual and erotic poetry and stories. She hosts a monthly series called A Taste of Sex: An Erotic Poetry Open Mic Reading in New York City at the famous Bowery Poetry Club, and is finishing her first collection of poems called Sextroverted, due out in the fall along with the launch of her new online publication, The Sensual Life. She splits her time between Philadelphia, where she is raising two beautiful daughters with her former spouse and co-parent, and New York City, where she lives and researches sensuality in the OneTaste Urban Retreat Center.
